Refreshing Old Posts for New Traffic

Identifying decayed pages and the updates that recover rankings within weeks.

Updating existing content usually returns more per hour than writing something new, because the page already has history, links and a position to defend.

Find the decayed pages first

Compare the last three months against the same period a year earlier and sort by the biggest losses. Pages that once ranked and have slipped to positions eight to twenty are the best candidates: Google already considers them relevant, they just stopped being the best answer.

Update the substance, not the date

Changing the published date without changing the content does nothing and is easy to detect. Genuine refreshes replace outdated figures, cover developments since publication, cut sections that no longer apply, improve the introduction, and add the questions readers actually ask now.

Fix the surrounding structure too

Add internal links from newer related pages, check that the title still matches how people search, and make sure the page loads well on mobile. A refresh that only touches the body text leaves most of the available gain on the table.

Work through the list in batches of five and note the position before and after. Within a few weeks the pattern of what works on your site becomes obvious.

Yes. We're based in Bengaluru but work with businesses across India and abroad. Meetings happen over call and video, and everything is managed online — location is never a blocker.

Absolutely. We handle domain registration, secure hosting, SSL and email setup end-to-end, so you get a single point of contact instead of juggling multiple vendors.

Every project includes post-launch support. We monitor uptime, apply updates and fix issues quickly — and we offer ongoing maintenance and growth retainers if you want us to keep improving results.

Pricing depends on scope — we quote a fixed price for defined projects and a monthly retainer for ongoing marketing or software work. Every quote is free, itemised and has no hidden costs. Tell us your goals and we'll suggest the best fit.

Yes. We audit what you already have, fix what's holding it back and take it forward — whether it was built in-house or by another agency. We rebuild only when there's a clear reason to, so you keep the value already invested.
