Timing, wording and systems that increase reviews without risking your profile.
Reviews influence both ranking and whether someone chooses you from a list of three. The temptation to shortcut is strong, and the shortcuts are exactly what gets profiles suspended.
What is not allowed
Offering a discount, a gift or an entry into a draw in exchange for a review. Filtering so that only happy customers are asked. Collecting reviews on a device at your counter in bulk. Writing them yourself. All of these are detectable, and the penalty falls on the profile you have spent years building.
Timing beats persuasion
Ask when the customer is most satisfied: just after a successful delivery, a completed service, or a resolved support case. A request sent three weeks later competes with everything else in their inbox and is ignored.
Remove the friction
Send a direct link that opens the review form in one tap. Ask a specific question, such as which service you used and how it went, rather than leaving them staring at an empty box. Ask everyone, not only the people you expect to be positive.
Reply to every review, including the bad ones, calmly and with a route to resolution. Prospective customers read the replies as carefully as the reviews.
